Fermented apple juice is used to make vinegar which is called apple cider vinegar. To make this vinegar you have to add bacteria and yeast in the juice of crushed apples. 

You can use this vinegar in salad dressing, food preservatives, chutneys, marinades, and vinaigrettes. 

If we talk about its composition, it contains 94% water, 5% acetic acid, and 1% carbohydrates. There is no fat or proteins present in Apple Cider Vinegar.

1- Use Of Apple Cider Vinegar As Fertilizer

There are different types of vinegar but you can’t use all of them as a fertilizer. If we talk about white vinegar it has a herbicidal effect on plants. 

If you want to see the good results of vinegar it is suggested that you must use Apple Cider Vinegar in your garden.  Apple cider vinegar contains only 5% of Acetic Acid that’s why it can be used as a fertilizer for acid-loving plants.  

Blueberry, Azaleas, Rhododendrons, and Gardenias are included in the list of those plants for which you can use Apple Cider Vinegar. 

Your plants need nutrients for their growth so you must use raw apple cider vinegar. Because it contains a lot of nutrients that are needed by your plants. Plants need nutrients regularly. 

You should add some organic matter from time to time to increase the fertility of the soil. The use of this vinegar in the garden is very easy. Mix 10 ounces of apple cider vinegar to mix in 10 gallons of water.

6- Apple Cider Vinegar Makes Soil More Acidic

Some plants like to grow in acidic soil but the pH of the soil in your garden is high. Apple cider vinegar helps to make the soil more acidic for such plants. Soil tests help you to understand the pH of the soil. 

You can perform the soil test with the help of a soil kit.  The result of the test tells you about the structure and pH of the soil.  According to the needs of your plants, you can add those organic materials to the soil to make it more rich. 

If the soil in your garden is alkaline and you want to grow those plants that love acidic soil.  In such cases, ACV  helps to maintain the acidity of the soil.  

You need only 1 to half cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and a gallon of water.  Mix them well to make a perfect solution to raise the acidity of the soil. 

7- Acv Weed Killer

Weeds can be a big problem for you as a gardener. Weeds are unwanted plants that grow in your garden and steal nutrients from the soil.  

As a result, there is a combat between plants and weeds for minerals and nutrients.  It will affect the growth of your crops and reduce the yield. The best advantage of Apple Cider Vinegar is as a weed killer. The recipe for weed killer is very easy.  

You only need

  1.  Two cups of Apple Cider Vinegar,
  2.  Half a cup of Epsom salt and 
  3. A gallon of water. 

The next step is mixing all the ingredients well to make a perfect weed-killer solution.  Fill this solution in a spray bottle and apply it to the weeds to see the magical results. 



8- Old Clay Pots Turn Into New By Using Acv

If you have old clay pots at your home and you want to use them again. This vinegar can help you to clean the old clay pots.  The first step is removing all the dirt that is adhered to the pots.  Now you need a perfect solution to make them new.

 To make this solution you need

  1. 1 tablespoon of this washing liquid 
  2. one cup of apple cider vinegar
  3. Four a cup of water

The next step is mixing all these three ingredients well and putting the pots in this solution for a minimum of 1 hour. After 1 hour take out the pots from the solution and rub them with the help of a moist cloth.  

Now this is the time to rinse them with normal water.  Now you can see the results. The old terracotta pots will be clean and look new.

9-  Clean Old Rusty Garden Tools

Many tools are used in the garden.  Old rusty tools can become the reason for spreading disease in your plants.  It is suggested that you clean them regularly.  

The tools you use are made from metal so they will become rusty over time.  The presence of oxygen and moisture in the atmosphere causes oxidation in Iron and as a result forms rust.

You can use this vinegar to deal with this problem. Spray apple cider vinegar directly on the rusty areas of your tools.  Now you need a clean cloth and wipe them.  

There is another way of cleaning the tools. Take a bucket and fill it with pure apple cider vinegar now dip all your tools in it. In case the stains are stubborn then you can dip them about one day.  Now take out the tools and why with a clean cloth.

Pests such as snails and slugs are also a big problem for your plans. You can use ACV to control these pests.  Make a solution of Apple Cider Vinegar by mixing it in an equal amount of water.  

Now spray this effective solution on the insects. The body of the insects is very soft; they melt due to the solution and expire. This is a natural and organic way of dealing with snails and slugs. But you should never try undiluted vinegar directly on the foliage of the plants.
